Choice Air

Recommended Posts

We also saved greatly on our Choice Air flights to/from South America and Europe. Domestic travel, we book directly with whatever airline is cheapest and more convenient.

I agree, Choice Air seems to save the most money on travel out of the country, expecially for one-way. However, I just used it for booking a domestic flight (STL->San Juan) and took advantage of the Flex Fare option. Because of the Choice Air fees and the Flex Fare increment, the price was about 10% more than booking direct with the airline. The advantage to me was that I don't have to pay a non-refundable airfare 11 months in advance. If we have to cancel the cruise before final, I'm only out the $15 per person Choice Air fee.

We paid the approximate price seen on Kayak for our ChoiceAir flight but we were only flying Puerto Rico to JFK! I think it is worth the $15. service charge to get help at the airport if we need it!

Don't count on it. Read the sticky at the top of the cruise air forum.
