leaveitallbehind Posted July 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2012 Will IPad fit in safe on Oasis? I believe the safes vary in size based on stateroom category. Pretty sure it will fit in suite safes - which are fairly large - but not sure in catgegories below that. My experience on other ships in lower categories is that the safe is relatively small by comparison. Maybe check with someone at RCI.

Starry Eyes Posted July 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2012 On some ships I have to angle my iPad or position it carefully to fit in safe....but it has fit somehow every time, including on Oasis B1 cabin.
dunn48 Posted July 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Make sure to keep your Sign and Sail card away from your iPad. It will demagnetized the strip and you will need to go to the desk and get a new card. Happened to me twice lol.

It was mine and my husband's cards. Learned real quick to keep them far away from my IPad :)
cmason Posted July 5, 2012 #7 Share Posted July 5, 2012 FWIW, I kept mine in the bedside table, under some papers and a book. I left my iPhone out and charging. No problems. Worry less, relax more.
MERCE4 Posted July 5, 2012 #8 Share Posted July 5, 2012 Took my iPad on Freedom in March and again in May. Left it in the bedside table drawer all week with no problem. Have a great cruise!

dnewscruiser Posted July 5, 2012 #10 Share Posted July 5, 2012 I fit my iPad just fine in the safe on Oasis last year. You may have to angle it in, but it will lay flat on the bottom.

I had to remove the case and angle in my first generation iPad. The wife's 2nd generation fit without taking the case off.
