Agree. That's why it will soon have 500 hits and only four replies most of which have nothing to do with actual pictures. If I remember correctly one of the Cruise Critic 'suggestions' when starting a new thread is to title it as accurately as possible. A simple "?" at the end of the title would have made all the difference in the world. :rolleyes:

I have seen references to food porn and pictures of such food on CC since I haven a lurker now member. But to see it in a thread title. Come on people. Let's not go there. Food + porn = yuck. Is there not a classier way to handle this subject without going down the porn route? Let's be a little more creative. Any suggestions?

Man some people are just way to sensitive. Your not actually viewing porn, its just a word.

And it's used all over the boards so maybe it's a tad late changing the term now.

Someone posted a margarita photo recently - I don't like tequila and the photo had me drooling! :D

 

If we're posting photos of food and beverages for fellow board members to drool over, I really can't think of a classy way to phrase it. ;)

I am the same I hate tequila neat but give me it in a cocktail, purists turn away now..........especially a strawberry or as I had recently at Margaritaville, a banana margarita here in Orlando! In fact now that 70 billion tourists have gone home I might see if I can wander over there soon put me in the mood for our trip later this month.

 

It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

The term food porn is not unique to cc. I've seen it used elsewhere. It'll be a while til we get lots of pics of the food on the new menu since it's slowly rolling out and not many people actually taken pics of their food. I know I've never done it.

While we're working on changing phrases of the English language, can we please not call this a message BOARD? I know MY computer is not made of wood, and neither is the internet. And please people, stop calling this a THREAD! Does it look like it's made of string? :rolleyes:

 

Gotta love when someone hijacks a thread to complain about a country's language, or some other completely random topic. Anyway, back to the porn. I have nothing to offer, but as a foodie, food porn is my favorite subject of any conversation.
