I am a pretty good husband but i wouldnt stay behind to watch toilet repair i would be on the Lido deck filling up with liquids to test it later

I bet he stayed because someone had to in order for the toilet to be fixed. I have had things needing repair and was told I had to be present or the repairmen could not enter the cabin.

It has been said that no one with the names of these passengers have been on the dream.. Where is the op to show evidence? Not doubting the possibility of this.. Just the whole thing either is a nightmare or just a troll..

Did the OP post his or her name and the names of the entire family? I sure wouldn't on this or any public message board. What am I missing here?

Criminy, it's a forum to discuss cruise related issues, advice, etc. Not a courtroom. No one has to provide evidence. Either believe it or don't.

Since the op is on a cruise why would you expect them to be back too often. And you want evidence???

I would not want plumbing issues for sure..

But, you post something false on a public forum derating a company and when that company goes the extra mile to make the customer happy, only to find out the story is not true is a problem.. I'll wait to see if carnival ever finds this person before I sympathize more..

You've equated the original post about onboard challenges to a limiting of some power on this vessel. I find that oddly interesting.

I'll have to assume you are correct until proven differently, because that's they way board postings go.
I don't, that's why i said I would wait and find out before I join a witch hunt.. This story could be 100% false, let's just wait and see what carnival finds out.

And your gonna know what Carnival finds out how??
Boy oh boy, Pornlover is going to be surpirsed when she checks in on this thread next!:p
No kidding. Let's hope she has the good sense not to check it while on the cruise. With the number of posts in this thread and the slow internet connection, she'll shell out 50 bucks reading the responses.:D

Of course, then she'll know to start collecting DNA so she can present her evidence when they arrive back on shore.

Some of you people posting on here are simply amazing. I understand that you need/desire to cruise on budget cruiselines (I do too), but wanting proof of human excrement (what is your address for the OP?) and justifying 2 plus hour waiting in the dining room with kids and empty tables around you is beyond the pale.
Oh, I don't know....trying to get them some help?
I see this a lot and that is what gives CC a bad name in the eyes of John's FB followers. Usualy it's more a high school gossip type person reporting to him what is being said on here in the "name of friendship."

It's bull. I wouldn't want that kind of friend that reported back to me hurtful and non relevant things that others said about me. That is no friend. That is high school behavior.

I do hope OP has a better cruise for the rest of the week. Seriously though, a plumbing problem is now John's problem?
Had nothing but trouble since boarding the Dream yesterday! The safe in our room did not work. Which isn't that big of deal, but we told the 'room' guy and he reported it. Still wasn't fixed that evening, today when we left we ask them to fix it while in port. Was told to call housekeeping. Which I did. Got back from port, still wasn't fixed. finally at almost 9pm, someone came to fix it. First night in dining room we had to wait over 2 hours for our food. I understand it takes alot to get everyone served. But we had alot of empty tables in our areas. Today after a nice nap we started to get ready for first elegant night, then realized our toliet didn't work! We have 2 kids in our cabin and this isn't good. We called maintenence, was told to wait and someone would be right there. We waited a while, noone! So I took kids up to get something to eat, NOT in dinning room, while husband waited for plumber. Guess they wanted to make sure we didn't do something to the toliet??? I called the room to see what was going on, husband was helping 'fix' toliet! Then after guy left my husband had to clean up bathroom floor!! Crazy! He smelled awful! And he was so hungry! We went to talk to guest services and got an apology and got some lame excuse about the toliet. My family has owned a hardware business for over 40 years and I can hear BS when I hear it. Anyway, husband didn't want to get maintnence guy in trouble about him asking for help. But guest services only wanted to talk about that. If my husband didn't help him, the toliet wouldn't have got fixed! We have cruised over 12+ times and only last 4 or so with Carnival because of our kids. But I will say this trip just may change things. We aren't the only one having trouble. So I figure they will have alot of comliments. I hope they get all these problems worked out before the next sail!
Why would you even wait 2 hours? I would have got up way before 2 hours of waiting to be served. Sorry you did not have a good cruise.

Well I will be on the dream in 3 weeks and hope I don't experience those problems!

But if so I will simply pee off my balcony until its fixed, I'm pretty good at distance but the wind could cause issues for those down below. But sure beats those smokers :)

If I wait even 30 minutes for service I will go to the buffet and bring up a plate, if Sergio the slicked back guy at the door has an issue will just explain I was hungry and tired of waiting....room service was backed up fixing my toilet?

Easy fix its vacation and nothing ruins it for me unless I have to swim to shore without beer......that would piss me off!

Peeing off your balcony would definatly be a problem if you are above deck 5.
