Erwende Posted October 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Having sailed years ago on voyager class ships with Portofino Italian rest, I only have their food in memory. Does Giovanni's serve classics like chicken parm, lasagna,or spaghetti and meatballs? Tiramisu? Thanks in advance.

39august Posted October 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Several different pastas, steak, baked shrimp, lamb chops, risotto, and tiramisu are all on the menu. I believe there were meatballs as well. No chicken parmesean. Breads and appetizers, soup and salads.
ChipLondon Posted October 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Giovannis is much better than Portofinos, especially if you are able to dine as a larger group and can share more dishes.
f1mauro Posted October 15, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2012 The food was incredible. Had a chance to eat there twice last week. Great portions and the service was top-notch. Sorry to say but enjoyed it over Chops (not to say they were lousy) just my opinion. As well my parents (both Italian) thought it was great. Mangia-mangia!
