Pretty sure I got thru all your review unless you had more after I left. Am very hopeful we don't encounter the rain y'all did in Jamaica as I'll be doing the same excursion you two did. Today has been a wonderful day at sea. Needed to take another break from the sun and some drinks for a bit, especially since I've six more nights to go. I over bought on this leg of the cruise of my Internet usage too so need to use some time up. Am hoping the Freedom has some similar packages as the Dream when I board her on Sunday.

When you are on the Freedom, don't forget to look for I Made on the Lido deck, he will take good care of you. Also, if you do see him, would you kindly ask if he remembers Brenda and Scott, that would be hilarious.

Good Morning! Welcome to day 4. Day 1 with the Carnival Freedom!

 

The Sensation docked as scheduled and I was one of the first ones off the ship at 720am as I begin today's land based excursion with the Interstate 95 ultimate driving experience. I hope to be aboard the Freedom by 10:30-11:00 am.

Made it the parking garaged and parked at 10:30. This mornings excursion was pretty un-eventful.

 

My home the next 6 nights.

 

 

 

We should be boarding here in a few minutes. I sure hope so, I'm hungry, I haven't grazed in a few hours.

Was on board by 11:25 and made my way to the 2nd level of the Freedom Resturant. For those that have not cruised the Freedom before, this is the spot to go for 2 reasons, 1 there are always hardly any people up here and 2 the fish & chips and the soup. I'll be having many a snacks up here this week.

All I can say is I'm glad I cruised the small ship first and certainly not the other way around!

And we're off on the beautiful Freedom! Muster started promptly at 330 and we began to pull away from the pier shortly after 4. It's a beautiful day today here in Ft Lauderdale and for sail away.

 

There was a wedding at the start of the cruise with many happy people. Ship looks to be filled with lots of happy folks ready for vacation. Ship is also partially chartered out to a Christian music groups that will host about 9 concerts and comedy shows just for that group.

 

 

We are backing up to move forward.

Hello everyone…

Welcome to "Live" from the Carnival Sensation & Carnival Freedom!

I'm excited to begin my second “Live” cruise report from the beautiful Carnival Sensation and Carnival Freedom as I travel a non-traditional back to back cruise adventure!

Tomorrow morning, Thursday, November 8, 2012 I'll venture from Tampa and board the Carnival Sensation in Port Canaveral with a brief intermission back on land on Sunday, November 11, 2012. I’ll then travel down to Port Everglades early Sunday morning, November 11, 2012 and board the Carnival Freedom.

My itinerary during the next 9 days and 9 nights:

Cruise experience:

This will be my 12th & 13th cruise with Carnival and I've cruised three times with Royal Caribbean. This will be my overall 15th & 16th cruise since I started this horrible addiction back in November 2000. When I board both these ships, it will be my second time cruising them. My girlfriend and I cruised the Carnival Sensation back in 2009 and the Carnival Freedom back in 2010.

Good evening! Was a great first day and evening aboard the Carnival Freedom and continuation from my 9 day cruise adventure starting with the Carnival Sensation.

 

Even with this mornings "Excursion" driving three hours from Port Canaveral to Port Everglades I was able to maintain my cruise relaxation. It's been a busy and fun day since I boarded the Freedom and we set sail. I was able to have a few "Fun Ships" today, take a nap, read more of "Diary of a Madd cruiser", buy and drink a bucket of beer, go to dinner at 6pm and meet and hang out with great table mates which some coincidently are part of our roll call, attend the free liquor testing, Funship trivia challenge, game show mania, welcome aboard show and adult comedy show.

 

Today was a great day, as is any day on a ship at sea is a great day. :-)

 

While this ship has a larger portion of it chartered, you'd never know it. This cruise has high energy and tons of positive and happy energy mixed with that.

 

On the dance floor in lobby there was great music there most of the day and evening with this older couple dancing that were on fire. The wife had a smile on her and dance moves that could set a fire in a rain forest.

 

We are rockin and rolling a bit tonight and should be in Key West at 8am on Monday. Tomorrow is pub crawl day. Tonight everyone should sleep very well.

Good Morning! Welcome to day 5, day 2 on Carnival Freedom,

 

Today's "Fun Times "

 

 

 

 

 

We arrived at Key West promptly at 8am. The weather is absolutely beautiful. We are docked near Mallory Square, not the navy pier, perfect! Im off to the Posh dining room Aft deck 3 for some breakfast then out to explore. Up next at 11am will begin the Key West pub crawl, stay tuned.

Interesting as we are also aboard the Freedom but an early Pub Crawl might make for a short night!

You must include a sailing on the Star Clipper in order to really appreciate the cruise experience, so different yet so much fun, and we are all about the fun.
