Wanting help to get 3 items for Christmas gifts to announce "cruise" gift to 3 children. 2 are age 11 and 1 age 8.....anyone available to help. I tried contacting Carnival directly but they were no help. Would like to keep the price below total of $20. Even luggage tags, brochures, etc....anything free ! That we could divide up and make it a special thing !

Sorry to highjack Mr. Fun but I wanted to answer Memaw. Still enjoying your cruise!! ;)

Memaw, leaving on 11/17, would be happy to pick some things up for you. If you'd like to email me at anitag at cheerful dot com, we can chat about what you'd like for the kiddies!

Around 830am I finally proceeded to the Fantasy dining room for breakfast and had a wonderful ham and vegetable omelet and waffle. I was seated next to a table for two which had a nice older couple that could be my parents. They are on this cruise with family to celebrate their sons 40th birthday. They were quite shocked that I as a "young" man was up so early after what would be a late night last night. Two tables over from them was a nice couple originally from NY. Topic amongst the five of us whilst we sat there was Hurricane Sandy before it veered itself back to cruising. At the conclusion of breakfast around 910 I wandered around the dining room to find the booze drink cart server, within a few seconds I found him and within moments he was whipping up my "Free" mandatory bloody mary, compliments of Carnival using my free drink coupon.

Mandatory Bloody Mary

I then proceeded to walk around the ship and making my way to the "Serenity Deck" which only had a thimble amount of sun on it this time of day. I pulled a chair from the shade over closer to this older couple, he was asleep and she was reading that shades of gray book. Can only wonder what's going thru her mind.

View of the sea from my seat, the seas are relatively calm and it's quite beautiful right now.

Once I settled in my seat I pulled out my iPad and opened up my Amazon ap and started from chapter one, reading a book written by one of cruise critics own Kokomo man. While reading "Diary of a MADD cruiser" by Bob Dennard I couldn't help but keep thinking this older couple sitting to the right of me was Bob & Emily. While I know this wasn't them, every time I see them the rest of the cruise they will be Bob & Emily, they fit the image in my head on who these two are in Bobs story of his cruise adventures and "The woman to blame".

"Bob & Emily" to the right. "Bob" was asleep the whole time I was sitting there reading "his book" as "Emily" was reading "Fifty shades of Gray".

just a few questions if you dont mind or if anyone could answer?

what is the price of bingo on the sensation per card??

and what is the 60 seconds or less?

and btw love this review still :D

Bingo is $5.00 or $10 a piece, I'll check tomorrow when they have another bingo.

60 seconds or less is actually pretty Funny, saw a good portion of it tonight.

Basically a person from the entertainment staff pull a member from the audience to do a funny thing within 60 seconds for a chance for fame to be on the Carnival tv and win a ship on a stick.

Friday was a great day, one of the most relaxing days I've had since July when I was aboard the Monarch of the seas and we were here in Nassau and partial time in CoCo Cay.

Departed the ship around 1230-1245 and really just walked around. Saw some things and places I've not seen during the many times I've ported here. Saw Junkanoo beach for the first time and my humble opinion it's nothing to write home about but is a nice free beach and quick place to visit.

There is a beach bar there though that probably has the best deal In town, 4 beers, 4 shots for $ 9.99. I wasn't ready to get my drink on at that time so I visited for a bit and continued my journey. I eventually made it back to the ship, only taking a few pictures of my journey. I did manage to have some conch, which was by far the best I'd ever had today.

Once I got back onto the ship I had all intentions of going back to the serenity deck to read and enjoy the rest of the day but it had really cooled down much like Florida. I ended up falling asleep and woke up about two hours later!!

No harm, I was so relaxed, went and got my bucket of beer from Rujita. She's so sweet and wonderful, holds my beers until I 'm ready for another. I'll miss her once I board the Freedom on Sunday, but I'm sure she has a twin there that will be just as sweet.

Around 615 I decided it was time to eat again and sat with 6 others and had great dinner conversation. Everyone had a great and relaxing day. Tonight on my menu I had the lobster tail, prime rib and alligator. I guess tonight was cruise elegant night, whoops I guess I didn't read the memo all that well as I wore jeans and a nice button down shirt sleeve shirt. For three day cruises I honestly don't put forth much effort.

Tomorrow night (Saturday night) is Chefs Table and I'll make more effort to look a bit better than and not wear jeans. I'm a bit concerned though as I have not got my official invitation about my registering for chefs table so I'll have to check on that on Saturday morning to make sure I'm not missed. I'm also signed up for the chefs table aboard the Freedom.

Today has been a long day for some reason, I know I'm getting older here in a week, but I should be able to have longer days than this. :-)

Mega deck party will be starting in a bit and its a beautiful night here in Nassau, I just got back from a stroll on the deck and will be back out there as I see the festivities from the deck party.

Tomorrow is a sea day, one of my favorite days while cruising so its my hope to wake up early and then relax back on the serenity deck after a nice breakfast in the Fantasy dining rooms.

Tomorrow is the last day of this cruise....but is it really? NO. That's the best feeling of doing a non traditional back to back cruise. While tomorrow night will be my last night aboard this ship, it really is a great feeling that while I leave the Sensation first thing Sunday morning that hopefully by 11am on Sunday I'll be aboard the Freedom.

Till a later time, live from the Carnival Sensation...

It's slightly overcast. I'm off to get some breakfast in the Fantasy dining room and then hopefully if its warm enough outside read on the serenity deck.

Breakfast was painfully slow this morning, as it took forever to get my food when I ordered at the same time as 7 other people. They all had quite the wait too.

After breakfast I found my way to the Serenity deck and just as I got there the captain had steered us into calmer and more sunny waters. Enjoyed a couple of hours reading more of "Diary of a Madd cruiser." Around noon I walked around the ship some as I had enough sun for a bit and then made my way back to the Fantasy dining room for lunch.

Today's lunch menu

Breakfast and lunch was very good. We are having a great day at sea we are currently traveling at 12.9 kts with winds around 31 kts. Well I'm off to enjoy more of this wonderful sea day.

Great day out on deck, everyone enjoying their day at sea

Pretty sure I got thru all your review unless you had more after I left. Am very hopeful we don't encounter the rain y'all did in Jamaica as I'll be doing the same excursion you two did. Today has been a wonderful day at sea. Needed to take another break from the sun and some drinks for a bit, especially since I've six more nights to go. I over bought on this leg of the cruise of my Internet usage too so need to use some time up. Am hoping the Freedom has some similar packages as the Dream when I board her on Sunday.

Why hello...

Today has been an amazing day out here at sea in the middle of know-where, one thing is I can say is thank goodness this trip doesn't end after today. It's been an amazing of a relaxing day. Think I last left off after my time from lunch and walking around the deck. Well since then I found a nice spot up on the sports deck over looking the lido deck where I was able to see all of todays excitement and the the island music. Was there for an hour or so, walked around the ship some then found my way back to my room and actually fell asleep again and had a nice relaxing nap. Woke up and then got ready for dinner shortly after 6pm and made my way to the Fantasy dining room yet for the 3rd time again today as i had a nice relaxing lunch their too. For dinner I was seated with some nice people yet again and great dinner conversation, two are a coupe I sat with the morning prior. I had the crab cakes, mushroom soup, salad and chicken something. Whatever it was it was all good. Service was much better than breakfast, lunch was good too in the Fantasy dining room. Today I had boycotted beer and have been sticking to "Fun Ships" which I feel pretty well at the moment. As I type this journal entry into my iPhone, I just stopped back at my room to recycle a previous "Fun Ship" before I head back out for more fun.

One thing I notice on all short cruises is everyone is really relaxed by that 3rd night, so sad that this is the last night. I'm so excited that minus a 3 hour excursion I'll be aboard the Carnival Freedom and my relaxation will continue. I must say relaxation has fully hit in. It was sad as I came back to my room to see the towel animal but no "Fun Times". But I'll see one at 11am tomorrow once I'm aboard he Freedom.

As I type this we are really rocking and rollin yet again. We are cruising at 12.5 kts and the winds are about 45-55kts. It's now 8:55, I'm leaving my room now for more fun. Peace.

Stopped back at my room just shortly after 10pm to recycle a "Fun Ship or two" just got back from a comedy show and "Show Time". I'll say this is the only show I stayed through the whole show 80's themed. I'm so glad I am boarding the Carnival Freedom tomorrow November 11th and continue this relaxation. Three day cruise's?

Till a later time , live from the Freedom...(Soon. :-) )

View from my room on the Sensation earlier today. I'll miss this room with the port holes on the Freedom on Sunday, but will be glad to be on the Freedom ship.

Drive Safely and let us know the minute you arrive at the dock for the Freedom. I'm on her with a group Oct. '13 and I'd love to see lots of pictures and hear in detail what you think of the ship!!! I'm addicted to this post so please keep it coming!

I really enjoyed your review for many reasons. First reason is we will be on the Sensation in a PT for the 3-night sailing on Novemer 22. I pored over the Fun Times on the iPad and identified many things we will want to do. I even loved your dinner choices and will probably try the same things. Great job, and really helpful to me. I am afraid it is going to cost me, though, as I will keep reading the Freedom section and probably have to book that one also ;)
