Which beach in St Thomas

They are in 2 different directions so you'd need to have a driver take you to Drake's after the beach or take one of the tours that includes a stop at Sapphire or Coki. Or you may find a driver that will hit Drake's before Sapphire too.

Thank you for all the help everyone.

Now that our group has decided what we are doing in St Thomas, there are 7 of us going to Magen's bay. Will we all be able to go together in a taxi or will we need two?

Saw the question about Drakes's seat, would it be possible to have taxi stop on way to Magen's bay- are they in the same direction.

Thanks again for all the help. I love these boards!

The taxis that go to Magens Bay are open air safari-style taxi trucks which hold about 20 people each. There are designated cabs to go to each beach; when you get off the ship, go to the taxi stand and tell the dispatcher where you are all going; he will direct you to one of the cabs going specifically to Magens Bay. Oh, and it cost $4.00 per person entrance fee there as well.

The driver may give you a break Russ, but there are no reduced fares for kids. These taxis hold 25 ppl and they will want to fill all seats. You'll see that it's very organized at the dock, these guys do this every day.

Little ones can easily sit on our laps (and will likely want to). 2 of them are only 4 years old. Other older girls will want their own seats.

  • 1 year later...

Blue Water: What are the options for a rest room on Sapphire Beach, other than the sea, now that the resort has closed? We are considering a ship's tour next week to Sapphire that supposedly provides a chair and a drink. Sometimes, though, a rest room can be very important.
