Does Royal have Escargot

My question is does Royal have escargot now in april for our honeymoon they dnt have it do to a shortage in France. I hope so I'm looking forward to it

Yes, the Freedom does. Had it every night on my Oct cruise. Never had it before that, so I said I would try it the first night. Glad I did.

Just got off the Liberty this am and they did not have escargot back yet.

Was aboard the Brilliance for 3 weeks in December, and they had escargot all three weeks.

 

In talking with the inventory manager (a good person to know) he told me that it appeared that they would be receiving escargot as long as they were in SJU.:)

I did notice that on some people's MDR menus, under the Esgargots description, some said something about world wide shortage, and some didn't mention it at all.

We had Escargot every night on the Allure a few weeks ago. DH loves it. I have the Royal Caribbean cookbook that includes the recipe but have yet to try and make it. It is on my to do list.

Same here on the Jewel 1/5/13 cruise. So I guess it is a definite maybe yes and maybe no!!!

On the Enchantment 1/5/13 cruise, it was on the menu but was not available that week.

We just got back from the Freedom on Jan 20th and they did have escargot every night. The menu mentions it may not be available due to a world wide shortage....but we were able to get it each night. Hope you're lucky too!

I hope we are lucky too. We'll be on the Freedom this coming Sunday. I am definitely looking forward to the escargot! Of course, if you put pieces of a shoe in that much butter and garlic, I would still enjoy it...:rolleyes:
