Crown and Anchor teams up with M Life is official!

Recommended Posts

Call RCI and ask for their casino dept. and have your Mlife # handy. Platinum level in Mlife is good for a 3 day cruise on the Enchantment out of Port Canaveral.

Which is not a bad ship - as short (duration) cruise ships go. Pay to upgrade to a suite and enjoy the Concierge Lounge. It's a nice perk... heck, between the free drinks in there and the hors d'oeuvres each early evening we never went to "dinner"! After that it was off to the casino, play for a few hours, then go find some munchies.

We had a good time. We're actually planning on a short return trip sometime in the next few months (only missing a couple of hours of work given its Fri-Monday schedule).

Any RCI ship is going to be nice, some are superior to others. We have sailed on the Enchantment before and after she was cut in two and stretched about 70 feet. The ship is OK, certainly fine for a 3 day hop to the Bahamas.

I should have added that the accommodations you receive via Mlife are an ocean view room, I.E. a room with a window but no balcony. If you are D+ by chance on RCI you have access to the concierge lounge which means free drinks from 5-8pm. To get that perk otherwise, it is necessary to book a full suite (not a junior suite).

Actually, Platinum status with M Life offers you either a 3, 4 or 5 night cruise to either the Bahamas or the Caribbean. Not just a 3 night cruise.

Called the Casino department today and added our MLife number to our reservation. We are Gold with MLife and she said we get 5 free drinks, dinner for 2 at the Specialty restaurant (Which is Chops on our ship; Enchantment), priority boarding, a welcome amenity in our room and a coupon booklet.

Does anyone know what Gold equates to for C&A? I forgot to ask her when we were going over everything :(

Thanks!

Is there a phone number that will get you right to the casino department?

To reach the Casino Royale department, call 888-561-2234. I don't know whether this is the right number for the MLife relationship, though, but it's probably a good place to start.

Call 1-800-762-0702 which gets you directly to a rep who deals with the MLife relationship.

Hey friend, thanks for posting this information.

Heading out on a cruise this week. Although we have a couple great Celebrity cruises under our belt, this is our first on RCI. By providing my Mlife players club Sapphire card number I was upgraded to Gold status in C&A even before stepping on the ship. Not a big deal, but I will raise that first free reception drink in your honor! Thanks again

I think this is a joke unless you are a big gambler!!! If you are a big gambler then you will get benefits but you would anyway. It seems to be a way for the Las Vegas Casinos to offer their gamblers a Free cruise.

As a Diamond RCCL cruiser you will be able to get ahead of 15 to 20 people in the casino buffet line. I signed up, I am Diamond RCCL and you get really nothing of value. Not really worth standing in line to sign up for unless you are big gambler.

Hardrock in Ft. Lauderdale gives free cruises on NCL. More or less the same thing.

Also good for RCCL because they can bring some big gamblers on, making more money and hopefully keeping our cruise prices down. Everyone is a winner!!!!

"Royal Caribbean International and MGM Resorts International® have entered into an exclusive loyalty program relationship. This means that as a loyal Crown & Anchor® Society Diamond member, you’ll experience M life Gold benefits at all M life destinations, including ARIA®, Bellagio®, MGM Grand®, Mandalay Bay® and The Mirage®, to name a few."

I am a Platinum Mlife Member and I just booked on Allure for Dec.15 Sailing I did gave the RCI rep my MLife number and because its a 7 day cruise I had to pay like 800 PP., for an inside cabin. she told me she has discounted the price becoz of My mlife platinum but I don't think so .

also HOW DO I GET MY Crown & Anchor MEMBERSHIP ?

thanks

Well, $800/person is less than the current price for that Allure cruise. The cheapest price on that sailing that I can find is for an inside guarantee for $899/person + $125.40 for taxes, totaling $1024.40/person.

You can't join Crown & Anchor until your first Royal Caribbean cruise. You can sign up with the Loyalty Ambassador while you're onboard, but you won't get any Crown & Anchor benefits during this cruise. In fact, since you're sailing as an Mlife member, you'll get those benefits instead. (I don't think you can get both Mlife and Crown & Anchor benefits on the same cruise.)

Called Casino Royale number and because I am getting a balcony discount on my next cruise I was not entitled to any of the reciprocal MLife benefits. Confirmed by Crown and Anchor that MLife benefits are not combinable. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, this was only my second cruise, but I had to choose between my RC benefits (a $25 certificate) or my M Life perks - I chose the M Life perks. What made it really bad was once I got on board, I was denied those perks. My host was very sorry, but her boss looked at the list of M Life players and by my name it said "Benefits Only - No Comp". I took this to mean it wasn't a comp cruise (as I had already taken that), but I should still get the M Life benefits. He took it to mean I shouldn't get anything.

When I called RC, the woman was very apologetic and frustrated - saying a quick call to them would have confirmed that I am a platinum M Life member - entitled to the benefits. They offered me $25 on my "next" cruise. I said I wanted a credit issued - as the $25 was for the cruise I just took - not my next one. Still waiting for an answer.

Thank you. Hopefully trying to add and not being successful does not cause issues for my fully paid booking.

Just wondering - regarding the partnering with MLife - do you use your MLife card in the casino now?

No - you use your Sea Pass card as your player's card. Although make sure you bring your M Life card with. They didn't ask for it on my free cruise, but did on my next one (where I was denied my benefits). Although I didn't have one with my new expiration date anyway. The most recent one I had expired in September of 2013. I will get a new one next month.

That had to be frustrating...

Seems most everything having to do with Mlife has "complications"!

Thanks Daghis,

I actually paid 4000.00 CDN as it shows on my Canadian Visa statement, But Was actually billed for 3800.00 USD for 5 of us in two connecting Inside Cabins including Gratuity and Taxes. So They did give me some sort of MLife discount here.

As I am Platinum on Mlife and it will bring me to Diamond Plus on Crown n anchor ?, So on my next cruise I will be able to visit Concierge and Diamond lounges but on this cruise as its my first one with RCI

M life frustration...called MGM, they said call RCÇL, called RCCL and they said call MGM. I said forget it, we'll stick with Harrah's. Planning a big birthday celebration for 7 couples in Vegas, MGM just too hard to work with...Planet Hollywood - here we come!

I don't believe that Mlife Platinum equates to C&A D+.
