Auckland hosts 3 Cruise Ships on Waitangi Day

Busy day for Auckland with the Mega Cruise Ship, Voyager of the Seas at Princes Wharf , while Queens Wharf caters for 2 World Cruises, Holland Americas Amsterdam ,and Hapag Lloyds Five Star plus luxury ship , Europa.

Yes , that was early .

We got a great view of them , as they sailed past Orewa..

That is a great view! You certainly have a beautiful spot at Orewa, David. (We drove through on the way back from the tip of the North Island.)

All board was 3pm and they left at 3:30pm!

 

I think because they are having a overnight in Sydney, that's why they left Auckland so early and I think they wanted to get back to Sydney in two days instead of the usual 3 days.
