Post your favorite night cruise pics!

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I've seen post your favorite cruise photos and sunset/sunrise picture, but couldn't find a favorite night time picture. (If one exists, hopefully this will be combined).

Ever since I saw pictures of Curacao's waterfront, I always wanted to go there just to get a chance to take my own pics. I've never really mastered night shots, but I'm really happy with these shots despite any flaws. We were lucky enough to have a full moon rise on the night we were there.

I hope everyone will add their own favorites

The buildings are a little dark, but the moon is sharper

Lovely photo - where was it taken? :)

Those mountains, that misty cloud, town shoved up against the mountain, and all those cruise ships...that spells Alaska!

Nice shot Bruce - I'd love to get on an Alaska cruise for some night shots of those towns.

Zackiedawg nailed it! Juneau, Alaska from our balcony. The only time I used my tripod on that trip.

Thanks for the comments.

Here are mine. I must first express a debt of gratitude to Bruce. I noticed his image of Juneau when he first posted it and said “Wow,” and it was on my bucket list to get a similar image. So, from last summer’s trip…

This is back under the Golden Gate Bridge on the same Alaska cruise.

And, a six second exposure somewhere in the Caribbean
