Everything quantum!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Subscribing to this thread. I also followed the Everything Breakaway thread and loved reading all about the ship - from initial build to sailing. We are sailing on Getaway in October 2014. VERY tempted to book Quantum for April 2015 but as we've booked an S6 cabin on Getaway, I think we will need to save up a bit first!! I know that I could give up my S6 cabin and choose a regular cabin instead so that I could cruise both but to be honest ... I don't want to!! :p

Think I might just have to wait until Anthem sail dates are released and book a cruise on her instead. Really intrigued to find out more. :)

This is a screen grab from a video. if you look closely you can see a gap in-between the superstructure and the windows which I THINK is the side balcony. So it kinda wraps around but a small part is behind the substructure. That makes sense?

So, you think that's why they separate the measurement for the main floor balcony?

I think the Owners suite and Royal family suite are basically the same room. Except the family suite has a 2nd bedroom where the dinning table is in the owners suite. RFS has no separate shower stall in the masterb bath and a full 2nd bathroom instead of a half bathroom.

More on Ripcord by Ifly.

RipCord is the first skydiving experience at sea and it allows everyone from first-time flyers to seasoned skydivers to enjoy the thrill and exhilaration of skydiving in a safe, controlled and simulated environment. The sensation of flying takes place inside a 23-foot tall glass flight chamber

so guests will have stunning ocean views as well. It is surrounded by a viewing platform for friends, family and other spectators. It’s located on the Sports Court at the aft of the ship, will overlook the FlowRider surf simulator and is situated adjacent to the Rock Climbing Wall.

> It will be complimentary for guests and likely mirror land-based guidelines: Flyers may be as young as three years of age. There is no upper age limit. All flyers must be in good health and physical condition. Those less than 6 feet tall must weigh less than 230 lbs, and those over 6 feet must weigh less than 250 lbs. Children under 18 years of age need to have a parent or guardian to sign their waiver. If you have a prior shoulder dislocation or back or neck problems you should not fly.

Seaplex.

Guests can experience a circus school with flying trapeze, or play soccer and basketball on a full- size regulation basketball court. The bumper car and roller skating offerings deliver fun and excitement. Guests can dance to music orchestrated from a floating DJ booth which hovers above the activity below.

The sea pods have very large windows, extend over the side of the ship, and offer expansive breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding destinations when near ports.

>Bumper car rides will last approximately 3 – 5 minutes and there will be up to 30 cars to choose from.

>They are open to guests on a first come, first served basis.

>The SeaPods will have custom themes and features such as table tennis, foosball, air hockey and other interactive games.

>We strongly suggest guests use the roller skates provided onboard Quantum of the Seas, however guests may bring roller skates in good condition. Roller blades are not permitted in SeaPlex.

Sounds pretty awesome to me, another RCCL innovation. It sounds like a really great place to just hang out, and relax.

Thats very cool Tyron, anymore of those models?

They had a few floating around but after they were leaked months before the reveal they were taken off most of the websites they were on. I think we've seen all of them except of the kids area (Adventure Ocean).:)

I did a google search and put in project sunshine rccl samba grill and found that one.
