Navigator in Galveston year round starting in November

Recommended Posts

Am I not reading the thread titles right, or has nobody posted the news that we got e-mailed today that starting in November, the Navigator will sail from Galveston year round?

Or is that just old news?

And I can't find a direct reference on a quick look on RCI's web pages...

But I seem to recall many Texas posters want a ship there year round! So here it is! (and I think we may do another Galveston cruise again)

Knew about this months ago. We were on the Mariner in April and they were reallt pushing it. Booked our cruise yesterday for March. Summer prices are high as a cat's back though. Staterooms that are normally $800 are upwards of 1400-1599 $$. Rather go after spring break. Not as hot, not as many kids.

We are booked for Nov 16 , 2014, which is one of 2 cruises that go to Roatan, Cozumel, and Costa Maya instead of Belize. There is a real deal on this one now , as we got a D2 balcony on deck 9 for $1812 total, including pre paid gratuities..We have been to Belize twice, and not really all that excited about it, so this looked good. The other one is May 2014..

That IS a great deal! I take it this is for 2 people? We're going 12-14-14 and paying a LOT more for a D1 (3 adults). :p

It is for wife and I . It was actually about $200 higher and then Royal offered a TA incentive , and my TA changed it for us.

Old, old news;) Love the staff and crew of NV but won't go back on her until after dry dock. She needs alot of tender loving care to bring her back to her best, imho. See you on the NV after dry dock:)

Thanks in advance.

We always book a suite, for the 4 of us.

But on Carnival Magic, that was not an option, suite was way too small.

So we got a inside cabin, and a suite.

But on Navigator, they have the new virtual inside cabins.

So would love to see what that is all about.

So wish we could but we are going to be forced to take a 10 day trip to Kailua, HI on the north shore of Oahu next spring after taking a week in the Midwest this fall. So, actually I am okay with the 519 days now!:D
