Century Showtimes; select dining

We just booked the eastbound Panama Canal on the Century departing Dec 21, 2013, and we chose Select Dining. I see that we can make dinner reservations online for each night (this is great, since one time when I had choice dining on a cruise, it was very difficult to reserve one's preferred time once on board; timeslots often were fully booked). We prefer a somewhat early dining hour--not as early as the 6 pm fixed slot--but still giving us time to make the first show. Does anyone know what time the shows typically are on the Century? Do they vary? Thanks!

The show times will most likely vary on formal nights, but last October on the Century the nightly shows were 7 and 9 PM.

Hi, nope you don't have to. Some people do but it is not a necessity.
