What kind of military discount does Royal give you?anybody know?

It appears to be variable, and isn't always available. It may not even be frequently available. I've got it once, but I think we did save about $700 on a JS on FOS.

Random and not available on all cruises, but worth checking on every cruise considered. A mock booking on the RCI website with and without the checkbox selected will confirm what, if any, discount is offered on a given cruise. Or you can call RCI or your TA directly and they will check for you.

If you use the Advanced Search on Royal's website, you can select the Military Discount box to look for cruises with that discount. I just did this and 67 cruises came up.

Definitely used sparingly, have not had the opportunity to take advantage of any as of yet. Usually the sail dates doesn't coincide with my availability.:)

Very rare. We've only gotten it once on RCI. I keep checking on every cruise because it sometimes pops up, but so far, nothing, except the one time. That's one area that Carnival has it over RCI. We've had a military discount on every Carnival Cruise we've been on.
