Just back from another great cruise and have a question.

While playing cards in the casino I observed a player hand the dealer a Dark Blue sail and sign card, I have seen the regular blue, red, gold, silver and white never a dark blue. Anyone else ever see one? Just wondered what level that might be.

Now that's a new one on me.....
I have a collection of Carnival-issued cards that is fairly up-to-date.

I cruised Valor in June and Glory in Sept.

and I have acquired Carnival-issued cards you've never seen before, many of them crew-only cards.

Passenger cards are blue, red, gold, grey(Platinum), sliver-white(Diamond)

with Milestone cards (your 25th, 50th, 75th. cruises only)

looking like the bottom one of these..

Milestones-187.jpg

The upper one is the OLD milestone design/color - both are blanks with no info on them

I'm having my doubts about this dark-blue card mentioned above

because I even asked at the Casino

whether they issue any type of Casino card, like how NCL does(I have those too)

-the answer was no.

I've posted pics of some of my cruise-card collection to my Photobucket account.

You might take a look?

That's really cool. Are they actually all in your possession or as some just pictures? Because if you wanted some pics of Celebrity cards or an Adult Fountain Fun Card, I would be more than happy to send you copies of ours.

The adult Fountain Fun card sounds 'Carnival' ?

If it is, yes I'd love to have a pic. ..or the real thing?

My email is pcdoctor (at) karibcable dot com

Yes most of the cards you see....I have.

Only 3 or 4 of the cards you saw are not mine, I have 200+ cards these days

all different cruise lines....but I like Carnival cards particularly.

I'll send you a pic of the Carnival Adult Fountain Fun Card. If I can find one from a different cruise, I'll send you that one. But the one I recently ran across was from our wedding sailing so I kinda want to hang on to it :)

Are you interested at all of pics of the Celebrity ones? I have white ones - regular room, gold ones - Concierge Class, and blue - under 21.

I keep seeing mention of a "Premier" cruise- what is that?

A premier cruise is one that is offered by the Ocean Players Club to high rollers. You usually just pay the taxes to cruise. They give you casino money. I've heard it is $750. You get free drinks while in the casino, a cocktail party and other goodies.

I have a BUNCH of Celebrity cards

thanks to a friend in Dundee, Scotland, who has showered me with his Celebrity cards!

Fairly sure I have most of the colors/styles you just mentioned

but you might send pics? or post them here? Let's have a look..

The reason I like Carnival cards above all others

is that other cruise lines issue comparatively-bland cards.

Carnival's are more varied and colorful in design

and they seem to make big design changes about every two years

thus providing much variation(the basis of all Collecting!).
