Thanks for posting. Something I will never do since I could not stand the flight back to Vancouver.:)

Hi Gail,

Do what we do....go via Hawaii & have a stopover. It can be much cheaper & you can rest as the flights are around 8 hrs & 5 hrs

Hope you can make it over here soon

Regards

Thank you for the advance glimpse of our Cruise next Sept. 2014. Can you share with us the airline you used? We were considering a flight that would stopover in Hawaii to make the flight a little easier.

Thanks for posting the video. It was a great cruise on a great ship.If you get the chance do it and don't get caught on the return flight. Living in Australia we have to fly for up to 24 hours each way for some of our cruises. One day of pain for 24 of pleasure.

We will be on the new route in Feb 14 from Singapore to Myanmar (Burma) & India do look out for the video highlights!

We mostly use the Qantas A380 direct from Melbourne. ( 13.5 hrs )

But also use the Qantas offshoot Jetstar direct to Hawaii & then a US carrier or Westjet to USA or Canada as you can get great specials even when you pay for baggage/meals or alternatively use Fiji Airways via Fiji

Re long flights....

Whenever we go to FLL, the easiest fastest way is to use the direct Qantas flight to Dallas/Fort Worth from Sydney. It is then just a 3 hr flight to the East Coast and saves the hassle of going via LAX.
