Mandy923 Posted November 1, 2013 #26 Share Posted November 1, 2013 I think they are a pretty good lunch option. On our recent Glory cruisemy 8yr old (who has celiac and can't eat Gluten) had a guys burger with gluten free bun 3 out of our 5 lunches onboard! GRANNYOFSIX Posted November 1, 2013 #27 Share Posted November 1, 2013 I had them on the Glory and thought they were much better than the standard grilled burgers. And anything with sautéed mushrooms is killer IMO!! The fries were also the best on the ship, except maybe those curly fries I got with the steak and eggs at brunch, those were also da bomb My husband absolutely enjoyed Guys Burgers (he didn't think he would) on our Oct Glory cruise - I don't eat a lot of meat so I opted out........but, to my surprise they even smelled delicious to me!!!!! Original Poster - I hope you get to enjoy Guys Burgers on another cruise - we have only been on one ship (The Glory) with the 2.0 upgrade and we loved everything - especially the Alchemy Bar and the Burrito Bar along with Guys Burgers.........nice improvement...........:)
Tithonus Posted November 2, 2013 #28 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Maybe they can change the name. Guy fieri IS A JERK:rolleyes: Probably why he changed his name from Ferry. And what's with the funky pronunciation?
bigman01 Posted November 2, 2013 #29 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I don't think Magic has a Guy's. Am I wrong? Not that I'm worried about it. No, you are not wrong. Magic does not have Guy's Burgers, just the regular grilled burgers. Whoever said it does is not correct.
Rare jimbo5544 Posted November 2, 2013 #30 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Maybe they can change the name. Guy fieri IS A JERK:rolleyes: Do you know him? The name always makes burgers taste better........

christmas Posted November 2, 2013 #33 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Guys' Burgers are on all 2.0 upgraded ships. Liberty, Conquest, Magic, Sunshine, Glory, Valor and Triumph. Tell me if I missed any. You missed the Breeze and the Valor and Magic does not have Guy's.
tinkerbell_82 Posted November 2, 2013 #34 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I wish they would just cook them and put the toppings out on all of the ships. Not a big fan of guy fieri, but that burger was incredible!! Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app

Budget Queen Posted November 2, 2013 #36 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I was on the Glory and Conquest this summer, and greatly enjoyed the fresh cooked hamburgers. A BIG difference compared to some other options, especially the precooked yuck ones. :) I'm on the Valor next month and will miss the option. I was surprised to there was no up charge like RCI has for their better burgers. Just an added option for people.
seannyice81 Posted November 2, 2013 #37 Share Posted November 2, 2013 I think they're pretty good burgers. They can be a little greasy, but nowhere near as bad as one from Elevation Burger (those who've been, DC Metro area). Much better than the usual fast food joints. Being an auto tech myself, The one thing I'm not a big fan of is the "shop rag" napkin, though they work I guess. I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed my next 2 cruises won't have Guy's Burgers or the Blue Iguana.
Fun, Fun 44 Posted November 2, 2013 #38 Share Posted November 2, 2013 Enjoy the Guy's Burgers, but would rather have the old ones back with the chicken strips, nachos and such.
lilmizz Posted November 3, 2013 #39 Share Posted November 3, 2013 I thought Dream got 2.0 but no Guys. Dream only got a couple upgrades, not the full 2.0.
oceanaire Posted November 3, 2013 #40 Share Posted November 3, 2013 Guy's burgers are SO GOOD! I had one every day on my last cruise. Very disappointed that the valor does not thave the 2.0. I will Not be eating any of the substandard hockey pucks. Also the burritos are really good as well on the 2.0 ships:cool:
