Brilliance vs Serenade

Never been on Royal Caribbean...

I need to decide between the two ships.

One is 5 night out of Tampa, the other 7 night out of New Orleans.

Both are same class, with renovations done.

Which has better shows, etc.

Any preference between the two?

Please help me decide.

Thanks.

Actually, people may chuckle when I say this, but Brilliance has shower curtains and Serenade has shower doors in regular cabins below suites. It may not seem like much to you but it does make a difference to me. ;):D Plus, a longer cruise always wins for me, so Serenade. :)

Have fun.

Two beautiful ships, same class, and as noted above, Serenade (and Jewel) are the two in that class with real shower doors;) That said, 7-nights would trump 5-nights in my book:D Can't wait to sail on her in March--and have fun playing in NOLA!

Serenade! 2 extra days is a huge bonus! We did the 5 night out of Tampa last January and it was fun, but would have loved 2 extra days. This January we're doing the Serenade out of NOLA. :)

Also, since you are from Shreveport, the additional cost for the 2 extra nights would even out with the additional cost of (most likely) flying to Tampa.

I didn't notice you were from Shreveport -- I guess the great food in N.O. isn't as big a deal for you!

We did a B2B 7 day on the Carnival Conquest from New Orleans last month, we had so much fun that we booked a B2B on the Serenade in 2015. Sailing up and down the Mississippi was really an experience. (that may not be a big deal for you either -- rivers in southern California are really just creeks ;)
