These are the menus from the Nieuw Amsterdam Western Caribbean 7 day cruise.

We only got part of the dessert menus delivered to the cabin -- second page was never there -- the one that lists the Sundae and crisp of the day.

Each season HAL does try to add some new items.

KK, what is your opinion of the Master Chef's International Dinner that you experienced this time?

mmmm making me hungry. one thing though, what does a la mode mean ?

A la mode means it's topped with a scoop of ice cream - yum!

Was Marco Van Bellegham the Hotel Director on your cruise? And, Dave Shea the Cruise Director?

They mentioned leaving for the Eurodam so I wondered if that had happened in Fort Lauderdale on 10/27.

KK, what is your opinion of the Master Chef's International Dinner that you experienced this time?

 

 

When HAL started the original Master Chef's dinner years ago -- we went to a couple of times -- and hated all the dancing, etc.

Then when that disappeared and HAL introduced this New International Dinner, we looked over the menu and decided that we would rather have a nice quiet meal in the Pinnacle (or Tamarind) to conclude our cruise.

So we have never tried the new Master Chef International dinner.

HAL always changes the menus once they get ships back to the Caribbean from Europe.

Yes Marco and Dave were on for the full 14 days. We met Marco years ago on another ship. Dave was new to us.
