Best place to be for sailing off

My family and I are leaving in feb. for our first cruise out of port canaveral.

Where is the best place for us to sit/stand for the sail off.

In good weather and then in bad.

Viking Crown in bad weather.

 

In good weather, helicopter pad if Freedom, deck 10 forward if Enchantment.

Agree with Bob about VC for bad weather. We enjoy the pool deck on EOS so either on that deck or just above. They seem to have a much better sail away party than FOS. On FOS we enjoy the upper pool deck, starboard side. Never done the helipad on FOS for sail away.

I agree with Bob, last Freedom cruise out of there, we even had a ladies choral group singing while we left out, it was so much fun up there!

I do have a balcony but think I would like to be with others.

So it seems like Viking Crown for bad weather ( I thought that place was reserved for frequent cruisers)

I am glad I asked,now I know to go there.

And good weather seems to be deck 10 forward.

Are there sets there or just standing.

Nice little video! Your video does show that the helipad on Freedom offers great views. It also shows that you need to be prepared for it to be windy! :D

My opinion is that the best place to be is actually on the ship. As long as I am on it, I am happy.
