Oasis/Allure Deck 6 OV Balcony

Can anybody comment on their experience with Deck 6 balconies on Oasis and Allure? We are booked in a D8, deck 6 forward in May. I booked Deck 6 because I like being down closer to the water and hearing the waves crash, but after going on Oasis in December, it looked like the lifeboats may effect the view on Deck 6, but we were on Deck 12, so I couldn't really tell.

Any experiences or pictures from Deck 6 oveanview balconies would be appreciated!

I was on Deck 6 on Oasis in June. Perfect location in my opinion.

Stand by and I will get you pictures. The views were not obstructed at all unless you wanted to look straight down to see the water running against the side of the ship.

This is a picture from Oasis of the Seas OV Stateroom 6566 arriving bright and early in Nassau:

That would be fantastic :). Thank you!

We were on deck 9. Loved looking down at the ocean, especially at night. The reflection of the lifeboats & water rushing by was mesmerizing. First time we were that high & loved it. Also, no problem hearing the water.

We enjoyed the view from Deck 12, but we had Deck 6 balconies on Navigator and Liberty and we loved being down close to the water. I can't complain about any balcony, though :).

I was originally scheduled to be Deck 6 but my TA talked me into moving to Deck 8. Was very nice having a quick walk to Central Park and especially Park Cafe. Just an option. I'd take Deck 6 though without worry.

Though I did enjoy Central Park, I thought Deck 6 was a prime location given the relation to the Comedy Club, Casino, Royal Promenade, Boardwalk and our Dining Room. We were so close to all of that that I don't think we could have picked a better room.

And going up to the pools, Central Park or to WindJammer wasn't bad at all. Most of the time we hopped on Rising Tide bar to go to Central Park. :)

We sailed on the Oasis her first year in cabin 6154 and loved the location! No worries about the lifeboats and one deck down to the Promenade and two decks up to Central Park and Park Cafe and the spa and gym are right there too; best of everything right there, IMO. Sailed on Oasis three times since then and she never gets old:)
