Me too. And mine isn't until January. I picked up an awesome, very cute straw hat w/a scarf attached. At Atwood's of all places for $5. Left over from last summer. the hat is just like this but with more of a scarf instead of a ribbon. I have more than one type of straw hats, but I loved the scarf with this one. We will be tendering into Belize and it could be a bit windy. This way I can tie it on and still have my pretty hat!

I'm a total hat freak, I've rarely met a hat I didn't like!:D You name a style of hat and I probably have it. I have new ones and vintage ones. I love the one you chose. What a great idea for riding on a tender. I'm going to remember this because I actually have one like it but never thought about using it the ways that you showed it being used. I usually just carry mine when it's windy. I love it! Thanks for sharing and inspiring! This is one of the main reasons I love this fashion board...the gals are so great about sharing their tips and ideas. ;)

Hope you have a terrific cruise!:D Edited by mousey

I usually take a couple of suits, so I can rinse and let one dry while wearing the other one...every-other-day.

My go-to is a swim-mini to cover up my thighs.
But last time I found these great board shorts at Bass Pro - while hubby was looking at fishing stuff
They have velcro pockets that lay flat to hold my key card....quick drying... loved them!

The top has underwire for support - from Swimoutlet dot com

pcur, I almost bought that bathing suit! I'd love to hear how you like it once you get it. I ended up getting this one from the same site:

I ended up ordering another one with the blue flowers and also the same suit but with pink flowers. I had ordered a different bathing suit that looked like it was the same style but it didn't fit as well as the one above so I sent it back. There should be a photo of that in this thread too.

It's nice to finally have bathing suits that fit and cover up areas that need to be covered. :p

I've been eyeing this one for a few weeks. I have another Esther Williams suit and like the fit, and when I saw this quirky print I really wanted it. Finally it went on sale! All the suits are 25% off right now, and they have one pieces, two pieces and plus sizes too.

I'm so happy!:):):) I went to the Tommy Bahama outlet today and got a swim top for $40. It's the same style as below, but it's a tropical print in off-white/lt.brown. These tops come in bra sizes and they give great shape and support. I'll wear it with a brown swim skort.

I found this on the sale rack and couldn't believe that both pieces were there in my size. Usually, there will be a size 2 in one piece and and 18 in the other.:(

I usually don't like suits with skirts because they drip so much after getting wet. This is not really a skirt, just a ruffle and the ruching on the top and bottom is nice on the tummy.;)

Then I found this coverup. It's a bit hard to see but it has the exact colors of the suit. All in all, I paid about the same as the price of the bottom, the top was $68 and the bottom was $48.:)

Ladies, I love all your new swimsuits and cover-ups!:D

Iheartbda,

I would wear that pink cover-up over a pair of capri pants with a cami under it and then wear it to the beach on another day as a cover-up. I think it's so cute and I love the colors so much!:D Nice score!;)

Just got it in the mail today. Absolutely LOVE it!!
OK, let me elaborate, since a few of you wanted to know about the fit.

This is a Longitude suit, which means it's longer in length. For women like me who are fluffy with fairly flat tummies, it's a great fit. It would also fit well with a woman who is average length with a large tummy that would take up some of the extra.

The two straps at the top (Lois's suit that she posted above has the same straps) are absolutely great for giving extra support to the girls.

The fabric is satiny smooth, and hangs beautifully. Wonderful underneath, too. The spanxy netting underneath goes all the way from under the bust to the panties. Best of all, the under garment is all BLACK, so if the skirt comes up you don't look nude underneath.

Love this suit, and it's on sale this weekend for $41 and some change.

LOL No problem;).....you wouldn't believe some of the old resurrected

threads I have seen on here over the years....(not just on this forum)

but for some reason threads going back 5, 6 and 7 years get pulled

up:eek:...it is really strange.

My husband bought this bikini as surprise but I think it's too small! I had a baby a year ago so I'm still self conscious of my body.

What do you think?

Good morning.....I don't want to offend anyone (if that is you in the photo)..and you are asking what we think?..but in my opinion, that

suit looks at least 2 sizes too small.... I prefer a top that holds my

breasts in and could never wear a bottom that small.....I don't wear

bikinis in general, but when I am in a 2 piece, the bottoms cover my front

and backside.....I usually wear a tankini when I wear separates.

Congrats on the new baby:D

I agree with you. It is too small. Both in dress size and coverage. Your body has recovered nicely, but I think a style with a higher waist and more support for your breasts would be far more flattering.
