Everything.. ESCAPE (live 29 Oct 2015!)

Recommended Posts

I'm all checked in! Looking at the little embarkation day newsletter, Margaritaville is still listed as complimentary. I guess we'll see if that has changed once on board, but I'd imagine (and hope) that it hasn't. Just fyi.:)

Interesting....please let us know about your experience with Margaritaville. Thanks!

Didn't go,i was not desperate enough to wait 2 hours lol. The people who did are definitely some kind of " special ".

We never waited 2 hours. Day one - walked right in. Day 2, we were told a 2-hour wait. We knew it wouldn't be that long, so we got a drink and sat in the sun and spent time talking and relaxing. It was just under an hour, and more than worth it.

I've just put a couple of small videos of the pool deck on YouTube.

They are on my sons YouTube account. He's only 10, and just about the most important thing for him and his friends is the number of views their YouTube videos get, so feel free to click the links and make his day. :)

There is also one of him on the zip wire.

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but regarding the "mid ship mini suite"... I just watched a video of the Getaway, and it had a pull down bed above the sofa. Do we know if this is the same thing on the Escape, or no? Thanks in advance...

Those sleeping 4 do have a sofa bed and a pull down bed (from the ceiling).

You will find a detailed photo of the coffee maker (HamiltonBeach, one cup machine) in my cabin photos. The pods are larger than Senseo pods.

To add; the exact type is Hamilton Beach 49970 Personal Cup One Cup Pod Brewer

Not sure if the Personal Cup pods are larger, see pics below. Sara Lee left the North American market and I am guessing the (Senseo) pod patent is free to use now:

Saw on Amazon the Hamilton being sold together with Senseo pods. And Melitta pods that fit in a Senseo coffee maker too. My guess is they are the same size?

It also seems there are 3rd party refillable DIY pods on the market. Didn't clicked those so no knowledge about them.

End of coffee thread. ;)

Done with coffee? On to cocktails! 😋

Just saw this poking around ncl.com. 5 Must try cocktails on Norwegian Escape. They feature one selection from each of five of the new venues. They all look so good!!! :D
