rambo123 Posted March 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2014 We are booked and paid in full for a royal family suite on RCI for 6 people. Sail date is in 2 weeks. 2 people in the party are now unable to go. We know there will be no refund. Does anybody know if there will be an issue at the pier with 2 no shows? These rooms are supposed to accommodate 5 or more. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Lady Hudson Posted March 30, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2014 But, my sister's experience when her DH couldn't go, you have to call ahead. A true no show, without alerting RCI, does not get the taxes, etc. back. Just our experience.
marci22 Posted March 30, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 30, 2014 If you can find other people to go in their place you may be able to do a name change for a small fee.

Caribbeansunrise Posted March 30, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 30, 2014 If you can find other people to go in their place you may be able to do a name change for a small fee. From RCCL website - Can I make changes to a guest listed on my reservation - Royal Caribbean International Print This Page Q: Can I make changes to a guest listed on my reservation? A: Names may be changed up to 24 hours prior to sailing provided one of the original names remains on the reservations.
rambo123 Posted March 30, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Thank you all for your helpful replies. I was most worried about our stateroom being changed. Glad to hear no problem AND that we may be able to offer 2 spots to somebody else. Cheers!
parrotfeathers Posted March 30, 2014 #9 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Question: Can the person "owning" the booking change the name if someone bails out, or does the person bailing out have to call?
bethco Posted March 30, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 30, 2014 The primary on the reservation can make the name changes.
