We had 1702 booked on Freedom for our May cruise, but this morning the JS inventory popped up at only $140/pp more, so we upgraded to a JS on the hump :):):)

No way to predict the deals. You just have to keep watching Royal's website.

There are websites out there that monitor cruise prices, and email you when your chosen cruise has a price change. You also have to get a habit of checking and knowing what a good price us vs a great price. Email me if you have more detailed questions.

True, but the trade-off was well worth it. Double points, larger room (with a tub - not a tube), walk-in closet, plus it's on the hump, so we saved a lot of walking:D

And, apparently, you have to be quick once you find something. Just went back out to the website this morning, and the JS have jumped back up by $350/pp over what we snagged yesterday, and the D1 we gave up to get the JS is now priced higher than the JS price we got yesterday:eek:
