Coastalbreezes Posted May 12, 2014 #38 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Just off Breakaway yesterday and had a wonderful cruise. The ship was not full for this sailing and it made a big difference. Was able to get into every specialty restaurant despite many people having the UDP. New (for me anyway as a 4th timer on BA) was a lunch show called Wine Lovers The Musical. This replaces the Murder Mystery Lunch. It cost $25 and was presented in the Spiegel Tent twice during the week (Tues/Sat). Three-course lunch, five wine tastings (pretty good pours!) and prosecco at the end. The show consisted of three members of Second City singing and educating the audience about wines. Very entertaining and I really enjoyed it. Also on the last sea day they had a Bavarian Buffet lunch (no charge) in Moderno. While I didn't attend, I heard it was very good. The casino was indeed open each night that we were docked in Bermuda (from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.). I am happy to answer any other questions. BwayProducer Posted May 12, 2014 #39 Share Posted May 12, 2014 Were there any "formal" or "dress-up" nights on board? They are usually Monday and friday evenings. But not sure with the Breakaway. Thanks.

Thanks. Monday evening was "Dress Up or Not". I did dress up as I never get to do that at home and treated myself to dinner at Ocean Blue for the occasion. Nearly everyone at OB was dressed to the nines but -- and I was surprised to see this -- they seated two woman in tee shirts and denim shorts next to me. I thought that wasn't allowed. Tracy I think only Le Bistro has the dress code of no shorts. Thanks for posting your info! We're also planning to do OB on that first sea day. How was it?
