Montana Posted June 7, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Is there still an Elite breakfast on Solstice to Alaska? If so where is it held?
Rare Hlitner Posted June 7, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Unless X has changed their policy in the last few weeks there is still an Elite breakfast on all their cruises. The actual venue can vary between the various ships and based on the number of Elites on a specific cruise. There should be a letter waiting for you in your cabin that will give you the specific info on all Elite events on your cruise. Mr&MrsBee Posted June 7, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Is there still an Elite breakfast on Solstice to Alaska? If so where is it held? We were on the Solstice May23-May30. The breakfast was in the Tuscan Grille. Only a handful of people were present. Gladz, Hemat and Kavi took excellent care of us.
CathyCruises Posted June 7, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2014 IMO it's not really breakfast. It's some sweet rolls; they have smoked salmon but the bagels are the size of a half dollar and unusable. The main benefit is the beverages--smoothies, fresh juices, cappuccino, mimosas, etc. Many people I have talked to eat a regular breakfast elsewhere but go to Tuscan for a decent coffee, etc. Kind of a pain, we never went once on a 15 night cruise. barbels Posted June 7, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2014 In my experience the elite breakfast has the best ffruit on the ship. I am happy with berries, pineapple , kiwi, yogurt and a plain croissant. This with a latte or two makes a perfect , peaceful breakfast for me.
Rare Pennstatedj Posted June 7, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2014 I agree with the last post. Great fruit, etc. I like the small bagel. It is amazing how tastes differ. I usually have a small breakfast east and then meet my wife at tuscan for her smaller breakfast, coffee latte and a drink, mimosa or bloody mary. We love it also especially on an s class ship. That's precisely what we do. DH goes to the buffet for his eggs benedict and I go a bit later to Tuscan, get a table and order the coffee. I agree with others that the breakfast is lovely and I hope they always offer it to us.

We were just on the Solstice May 30-June 6 cruise. We would have breakfast in Blu then stop at Tuscan Grill for some mimosas. There were only 80 Elite and Elite+ on our cruise. The most people I saw in Tuscan Grill in the morning were 6 to 10 People. The views in the morning from the the large windows in the Tuscan Grill were great. Most mornings in Blu I just had fruit plate, sweet roll or smoked salmon with a bagel and coffee for breakfast. Richard
