New Smoking Policy ruins Cruise

Okay let me spell it out for you:)

 

I used to smoke it was a B*tch to quit!

Fifteen years later I cannot enjoy things I should be able to.

I cannot breathe well,I am heading for oxyen full time.

If I could stop one person from heading my way ,you bet I would!

 

I can completely empathize with what you are facing. I've had family members that have faced the same issues. I will guess that it was you who finally made the decision to quit in spite of other people telling you for years that you should.

 

I am sorry that I offended you with my statement and I wish you the best going forward.

I have noticed the smoke in casinos is quite heavy. Fortunately, I'm not a gambler. I do have COPD, and my pulmonologist told me not to be around second hand smoke. When going from one end of the ship, I take the deck below or above the casino to get to the other end. The non-smoking section in the casino is a joke. They should have alternate nights or times, one for smokers and one for non-smokers.

 

That being said, although we don't frequent the bars, I feel that they should have both smoking and non-smoking bars to accommodate all passengers. Of course, at opposite ends of the ship. :rolleyes:

One good thing about smoking threads is it makes it easy to figure out who belongs on your ignore list and who is trying to provide valuable cruise info.

What I can't understand is, why they can't set up an indoor room for smokers like they have in Atlanta airport and others but that's the only one I've seen. Nonsmokers wouldn't have to worry about walking through it. Smokers can have a seat and smoke their brains out. All will be happy at least on the inside.
