hobo1937 Posted July 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Just read an announcement that Station Casinos in Las Vegas has partnered with Princess Cruises. Members of their players clubs will get offers for cruise discounts and if you are in their top tier a free cruise. The article didn't say anything about what perks Princess Captains Circle members will get at the Casino properties. Station is mainly a "locals" casino but they also attract California visitors. Sounds similar to the partnership between RCL and MGM.
Cruising Golfer Posted July 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2014 I would say not much in perks... Just another come on to get you in the casino. We play at GVR and Sunset and would like it if they gave some good perks!!!
caribill Posted July 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2014 Read about it here http://www.reviewjournal.com/business/casinos-gaming/station-casinos-has-deal-princess-cruises Posted comments at the end of the article are not complementary.
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted July 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2014 That sounds like a second rate partnership; wish they would have chosen a high class casino group like MGM. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

reney313 Posted July 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2014 We are Gold with MLife due to the reciprocal partnership with Royal Caribbean status. I would love it if Princess were to enter into a similar agreement with Total Rewards/Caesar's or some other group in Vegas. It seems partnering with Stations casinos would not be beneficial to the Princess brand, in my opinion. That surprises me. It does look like it's a "one way" promotion though and not a reciprocal agreement.
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted August 1, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 1, 2014 I checked out their program. Their only nice looking hotel is Red Rock, but the nightly rate is much higher than the 4 and 5 star hotels I like on the strip and not as fun looking, so I feel very little motivation to go there to earn points. Ethel5 Posted August 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Hmm..........Sounds like you can earn a free cabin on Princess when gaming at the land based casino, but there is nothing earned for gaming on a Princess ship.
Oceanlover12 Posted August 9, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 9, 2017 I've taken two comped Mexican cruises on Princess. We did an inside cabin which was 0 cost. Of course we paid taxes, gratuities, and port fees, but the 7 day cruise only cost us that and the cost of a drink package. You don't have to gamble if you don't want to. Both cruises were wonderful on the Ruby Princess. We just got back from a "paid for" cruise to Alaska on Celebrity which in my opinion was not as much fun as the free ones. Colo Cruiser Posted August 9, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 9, 2017 Since the promo the OP posted is now 3 years old it must not have amounted to anything. Have not heard any more about it. :o I never heard of it either.

Ha! Thanks for mentioning that!! I didn't even notice this was a revived thread! I was reading through all posts before I posted my disappointment is the choice of partnership. lol In the end, I don't think I gamble enough on ship or land to ever be of any "perk value". To us, we allow a small "play budget" on vacation. Nothing is ever expected from it. There have been times where we haven't lost it all, but usually it's a small contribution to whenever we gambled. :) It's a donation to my evening entertainment.
