Cabin assignment?

When I had that happen it turned out I was moved from the lowest category of balcony in a fairly unsatisfactory location to a midship balcony on Aloha deck. We were really pleased.

You'll definitely get a balcony cabin at the very least and may end up with an upgrade. Have a great cruise.

Chances are you will learn what cabin is assigned sometime during the week before the cruise.

Just keep checking the personalizer. At some point you can no longer make changes in the personalizer, but you will still be able to display/print luggage tags and boarding passes which will have any assigned cabin number on them.

You may not find out until you arrive at the ship. Keep an eye on your Personalizer and have a good time.

We have the same situation on the Star Princess in just over 2 weeks. How would we manage our luggage when we arrive at the pier? We couldn't drop our bags with the porters and then check in, without having luggage tags attached to the bags with our cabin number listed. Seems like it could be a hassle dragging all our bags through the check-in line.

You should hear soon!

We once cruised last minute on the QM2 (booked on Tuesday...sailed on Saturday) and we didn't know what cabin we were in until we got on the ship. They have tags for you and you can fill them out once you know.

Don't worry! Enjoy your cruise! ;)

You can print your luggage tags up until the time of the cruise. When you finally get your cabin assignment then print the tags.

If you don't get your cabin assignment until you get to the pier the Princess staff will be able to handle luggage tags for you.

Porters have a list and tags. You won't carry your bags through checkin.
