KJL53 Posted August 23, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 23, 2014 So sad.......I was so looking forward to seeing him on September 12th. He was on vacation when I was on Radiance in May and June. He was the best captain I have ever sailed with.
bonox55 Posted August 23, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 23, 2014 One of the enduring memories of our cruise to New Zealand In March was watching the Capt. Attempting to make a desert with the assistance of the chef. Anyone who watched this spectacle will never forget it! So sad 😔 to see him leave. Was a very down to earth and funny man. Will definitely be a loss for RCI . Bonox55 Sent from my SGP311 using Forums mobile app

AroundTheWorlders Posted September 23, 2014 #32 Share Posted September 23, 2014 So...tomorrow 23rd September Captain Sindre Borsheim leaves Royal Caribbean and Radiance of the Seas. Great for him to move on with his life but sad for us! He has to be one of the most personable and visible Captains out there and such a funny guy. Thanks Capt Sindre. You will be missed. All the best Captain Sindre, enjoy more time with your lovely family :) But we will miss you at Christmas in Australia! Many good wishes, Bruce and Edwina
JAMESCC Posted September 23, 2014 #33 Share Posted September 23, 2014 I wonder for Bill Wright if it was this company safenav consulting, calling for his services and RCCL couldn't or just wouldn't match the salary? Or he wanted maybe to be in a stable place not travelling as much if at all? I am curious.
