Hi there,

Irrigation.

As you can see the containers the plant pots are in are blue. This was raised at the time of installation. Shrug. ALL the plants are coming out during dry dock and probably before..... and the containers will be painted green. The plants will then be returned.

Thanks for this info Linda and photos :) that living wall is so lush and I recall how sparse it looked on the inaugural sailing.

Oh boy this is going to be fun. We are doing our first B2B on Oasis, after she comes back from refit. So I am very eager to read all about your adventure.

I have a fun suggestion while you are checking out the ship. Look for the "Small Wonders":

"Guests will marvel at the Small Wonders – a program featuring 42 surprise natural wonders, positioned throughout the ship and designed to delight guests while creating the feeling of being on a scavenger hunt! Larry Kirkland presents 23 pieces of tiny wonders in “hand forged interior-lit bronze microscopic vessels… placed randomly throughout” the ship. "

If this seems too large a task, just look for the 23 bronze microscopes.

Enjoy yourself...I know I will have a great time following along!

Hello my friend...... here are a couple of examples..... they're all over the ship!!

When RCL do something right they do it in a very understated way..... I loved them on Freedom and am now addicted on Oasis.

Gluten Free cupcakes. Whoever had the idea knew what they were doing. Demolished in seconds.

I mentioned Artwork earlier..... this is how I know I'm on the right deck, right corridor to find my room.....

Had dinner with a CC friend in the Solarium Bistro. Loved the menu. Food was delicious. Place was really quiet until they filled it with the MTD queue by which time we'd finished..... really large venue, underused.....

My friend was given this bread

I returned the original bread as it was the 'usual'. I got this. Burnt. Did not eat.

Thank you so much for this fabulous blog! Love it! As I'm also glutensensitive, can you tell me which GF-meal you liked most? I can already see that the bread must be terrible... I was only diagnosed a few months ago, that's why I never tried GF things on my previous cruises on Oasis.

Am in the MDR for the first time for breakfast. About to test them out for a GF bagel.

Met separately with 2 different staff members. I have a lump on my head from banging my head on that brick wall with regards to dry dock although I've been invited back in the next week by one. The other found my gentle questions uncomfortable and I didn't want to push them.

What I was told : DL moving to Deck 4. CL moving to 17. Both being replaced by staterooms. Izumi to 4. Seafood Shack will be around for TA. Margaritaville not confirmed down the line. Changes being made to Sports Deck already under construction. Going up there today for CC golf will take pics. Gravity machine in gym being swapped out by TRX (?). Cupcake Cupboard moving from Royal Promenade to Boardwalk. Forgot to ask where. Was not able to discover what it's being replaced with.

Now ask me specific questions to ask. Am like a dog with a bone.

They've no GF bagels. Have asked to see the bread. Sigh. Now advised they've sent someone up to WJ to see if they have any. Not holding my breath.

I HAVE A GF BAGEL!!!!!;

For disembarking a starred button appears to go to the specific deck...... normally it's dark

Specific drinks in machines.....

DSCN1697.jpg

A tour of WindJammer..... what were they thinking when they designed this? Awful. Hopefully with Izumi being shifted away they will redesign the entire layout. Izumi is next door.

Played CC golf this morning. Thanks 'funnel' for organising. Came 4/5.

Currently waiting for 'Captain's Corner' to start. There won't be any 'news' but I live in hope.

CC slot pull later. Didn't have too much interest pre cruise.

Checking my schedule earlier seems I missed the Comedy Club I'd prebooked. From what others have told me I've not missed much. Should I go next cruise? Pity they don't deliver tickets to the room..... would've been a memory aid.
