Does Princess carry SEC Network

Does anyone know whether Princess -- more particularly the Emerald out of Houston -- carries the SEC Network? That's all.

Princess has only shown games broadcast on ESPN channels including some network games so it's very doubtful if they'll have the SEC Network.

You can always stream the games on the computer if it is that important to see them live. Of course, it will cost $100 to $200 per game

SEC is only carried by certain companies, paying a royalty. According to my list not available on any cruise line

As far as I know, they have no deals with the maritime sat providers, so Princess couldn't purchase if they wanted to yet.

Main ESPN channel available if satellite is working in staterooms. NFL games were shown on board on MUTS in Alaska Sun & Mon, but no sat. college games. The NFL games on MUTS, and I am sure it would be about the same on the emerald

 

You might get the Colts game. We saw ATL vs NO, SF vs Dallas, and Mon game was spotty

Try the cigar bar (different names depending on your ship type) and you just may see the games you are interested in if at all possible.

I'm interested in the Ole Miss/Mississippi State game. Ordinarily this game wouldn't be of much national interest, but Ole Miss is playing real well this year, but the winner of that match-up seems to have no relation to national rankings.

Not being able to watch all the games we wish is the main reason we don't cruise in the fall.

Seriously doubt Princess will have the SEC channel.

The SEC channel has no agreements with Maritime sat providers.

 

Thus, unless something happens in the near future, it's not a matter of likely, its a no.

There's always a chance that the game will be on regular ESPN 1 or 2, or else one of the networks. We'll see.

We are from Athens GA, home of UGA, and we would love to see the SEC channel on the Regal when we cruise in 3 weeks, but I don't expect to. I would be great to see the Dawgs play on MUTS!

I have a son down at Ole Miss and have been following the Rebels the last few years. The big question after this weekend is whether MS ST is that good or is LSU that bad this year. Both will be big games this year as Ole Miss continues their rise. I hope you will be in a port for the game and can get access to WiFi for at least updates or the radio broadcast. Hotty Toddy!
