rhinomike Posted September 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2014 We will have 47 points going into our cruise on the Pearl next year. That cruise will put us up and into Gold Status. Will we be gold and get the Perks on that cruise or does it kick in after the cruise is over?
johnql Posted September 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Your points do not accrue until your cruise is completed.

njhorseman Posted September 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2014 You don't get the points added until the cruise has been completed, so you won't get the additional perks on that cruise.
rhinomike Posted September 26, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Also curious. Beside booking a cabin, 90 days in advance and extra points for booking a suite.... Are there other ways to earn points? Like through a credit card or partners?
mugtech Posted September 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2014 Also curious. Beside booking a cabin, 90 days in advance and extra points for booking a suite You get extra points for booking 9 months in advance. Certain cruises are Latitudes bonus cruises, you need to see which ones on which dates.

Thank you. Yes. I know about extra points for suites, 9 months advance and latitudes offers. I was wondering about getting an NCL credit card or other methods to earn points other than cruising. Not sure if there are ways or not. Thank you to everyone who has responded.

Cruisercl Posted September 27, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 27, 2014 NCL credit card earns you non refundable obc. Are you sure it is non refundable obc? Just asking because I am relatively new and thought it was. Thanks. :)

mugtech Posted September 27, 2014 #11 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Or if you wait until $250 level you can get cash. If under $250, take the obc to pay the remaining $150 when you buy your $250 cruise reward for the next cruise.
Rare EllieinNJ Posted September 27, 2014 #12 Share Posted September 27, 2014 By both me and my husband taking out the NCL credit card, we were able to get $200 ($100 ea.) deducted from our final payment.
NMLady Posted September 27, 2014 #13 Share Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Also curious. Beside booking a cabin, 90 days in advance and extra points for booking a suite.... Are there other ways to earn points? Like through a credit card or partners? The extra points are for booking nine months in advance, not 90 days. 90 days is usually when final payment is due, so no points for booking that late.
