wolfcathorse Posted October 13, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2014 yes I read it and yes, she's suspending the current sea trials and going back into dry dock in Hamburg. Then she'll have to transfer directly to Southampton. http://www.bremerhaven.de/meer-erleben/stadtleben/quantum-of-the-seas-kehrt-nach-probefahrt-nicht-nach-bremerhaven-zurueck.86489.html

jackaboo Posted October 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Your link doesn't give any information once you change the language to English. Yes it does, it translates to: The "Quantum of the Seas" will not return to its test drive in Bremerhaven. The ship must once again into dry dock in Hamburg. From there it is transferred directly to Southampton.
Rare steamboats Posted October 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Here´s the German press release by Meyer Werft. The Quantum will go into drydock at Blohm & Voss dock 17 / Hamburg on October 19th. It´s still planned to hand the ship over to RCI on October 25th. They have to adjust something at the bow thrusters and something regarding the scrubbers. steamboats

I hope that it is something very small and that we will still make our 11/2 sailing
Rare eroller Posted October 13, 2014 #10 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I think everything is fine and this is pretty typical. I also think this possibility was anticipated and was built into the original schedule so no delays.
podgeandrodge Posted October 13, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) doesn't necessarily state that this was unplanned, the translation suggests it is all planned..
