Is Cagney's still a suite perk

I just looked at the list of suite amenities and today it no longer says anything about breakfast and/or lunch in Cagney's. Can anyone who has been in an SF or above, particularly on the Jewel in the last month, confirm that Cagney's is open during the day for Suite Guests? The information on the website about the suites is different than what I printed out a few months ago. It will be a deal breaker for us and we will sail Princess if it is not offered.

I am going to call NCL tomorrow to confirm before I pay my deposit.

Good luck with that.

I would save my time and aggravation. You might get a good answer. You might be confused.

It has never been clear about this perk. For years.

NOBODY has EVER come here to say they had a problem with this perk.

(other than those in a mini-suite - lol)

...In fact, most people come here after speaking with a phone rep or PCC and say cruise critic forum members have more accurate information than the NCL reps do...on a variety of topics.

Trust us, breakfast and lunch in an exclusive dining venue is most definitely included.

The reason "Cagney's" has been take off is because the restaurant varies depending upon the ship. On Getaway and Breakaway (and possibly Epic - I can't remember for sure), all the suites are Haven suites, and maybe/hopefully, this is where the confusion comes from.

I keep reading breakfast and lunch are in now served in Moderno - but, it's still the Cagney's b/l menu right? My husband loves his steak and eggs for breakfast.

Yes, on some ships the venue is changed, although Moderno is co located with Cagney's on some. The menu is the same.

I think part of the confusion might be their use of the word Haven. It is *supposed* to indicate those passengers who are not only in suites, but also part of the Haven (two different things on the Jewel class, but I don't know about the Breakaway, Getaway, and Epic.... are all the suite passengers there ALSO Haven passengers?)

Anyway, I noticed on the Pearl last weekend that the VIP/Suite waiting area for embarkation was marked by a huge sign that said "Haven/VIP Check-In". I almost walked by because we were in an aft SF category. My husband asked, and she said no, it was for every suite passenger, but the word "suite" was literally no where on there (only "Haven").

So maybe they are having some difficulty making sure they are distinguishing the two when necessary, and lumping the two when necessary. I mean this in regards to the fact that the list still says that "Haven guests" get breakfast and lunch.

Yes, all suites on the Epic, Breakaway and Getaway have Haven privileges...even if the suite is not physically located in the Haven. On the Jewel class ships only a few suites (Owners Suites) not physically located within the Haven have Haven privileges.

The real problem, IMO, is that NCL's website doesn't have accurate information about which cabins have access to the private dining facilities.

Just off the Star TA Monday and had breakfast and lunch in Cagneys daily.:)

I am looking forward to the Star and my husband is looking forward to his pressed coffee even though I make it at home he loves the Cagneys Pressed coffee. Maybe it's because he does not get served...LOL :D

I'll be in a suite on the Sun before long; is breakfast and lunch in Cagney's on that ship or another venue? I think I remember reading at some point that the name of the restaurant for suite breakfast and lunch on her was not Cagney's.

On the Sun the suite perk for breakfast and lunch is in La Cucina, formerly Il Adagio. Great little quiet, out of the way venue with all tables having a giant window to enjoy the view.
