Midwestgal Posted October 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2014 (edited) Four different Carnival Cruise Lines ships earned perfect 100 scores on their most recent public health inspections this past month. These inspections are conducted about every six months by government agencies for either the United States or Canada. Carnival Liberty, Carnival Magic and Carnival Triumph each scored 100 on their respective United States Public Health (U.S.P.H.) inspections, while Carnival Splendor earned a perfect score during its inspection by Health Canada. This marks the 12th time a Carnival ship has earned a perfect health inspection score in the year 2014. To earn a 100 score, cruise ships must receive perfect marks on all of the items that comprise comprehensive checklists from either U.S.P.H. or Health Canada. The scores for any cruise ship can be seen at the web site for the CDC (Center for Disease Control): Edited October 26, 2014 by Midwestgal
klfrodo Posted October 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Congrats to the crew and officers of these ships. My opinion only No ship should ever score 100%. 100% means perfect with no room for improvement.

That lets you know the standard that is expected and keep to it in the future.
Rare richstowe Posted October 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2014 I remember when Carnival used to get 110% on their inspection scores. Further sign of how the cut backs have ruined this company ! Never sailing with them again until they allowing smoking on the balconies and reduce the price of the all you can drink package. ;)
snc_cam Posted October 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Congrats should be given to Carnival for this. It is a great achievement. And Rich, I can understand your thoughts, but since I am a non-smoker and had to deal with smoke on a cruise last year, I am glad they have stopped it. If you choose to go to another cruise line, I wish you the best. For me, I like there decision.

Rare jimbo5544 Posted October 26, 2014 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2014 EXCELLENT .....4 out of 24 did their JOB. Before making comments like that you might want to go view all cruise ships to see who leads the pack. Even more importantly, this just happens to be the latest four inspections. cruizinisthebest Posted October 26, 2014 #9 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Took one reply for this thread to go negative. Give credit where its due. Good job on the ships with the top scores and particularly those with 100%. Had heard about this before OP. Thanks for posting!

I was joking and trying to poke a little fun at the haters (hello champagne123). Next time there will be lots of LOL's. ;) I was on the Summit after it had failed it's inspection BUT before they had disclosed this to their paying guests. You've never seen so much scrubbing .:D Edited October 26, 2014 by richstowe

Impressive scores for sure.

Not only that, the other Carnival ships scored in the high 90's. I don't know too many things that are perfect and that's alright by me.
