I'm sorry...but I am enjoying this way too much! There will be "NO HAVING A LIFE" until you finish. No Breaks of any kind, be it food breaks, or any other kind, is that clear? :D

I love your reviews and pictures. Hurry back. :) Well, I guess I should go get in rush hour traffic on my way home from work. Too bad I can'tread any more until I get home. There should be another installment by then. Thanks so much for your wonderful reviews.

Jeff...The pictures and comments are great and although I never made the meet and Greet, I did talk to some of the folks in the photos at various times on the ship!

I never take pictures anymore so I'm enjoying yours!

It was a fun time!

The Muster Drill was scheduled for 3:45, so the meet and greet broke up around 3:30, as everyone wanted to get ready for the drill. I went back to my cabin expecting to unpack my luggage, but to my surprise my bag had not yet arrived. I swore I saw the porter attach the orange tape to my bag! Anyway, a couple of minutes later my bag did show up, and I was quickly able to unpack. The muster drill didn’t begin until 4:10, and lasted a good half hour, as they wanted complete silence before they would begin the announcements. Thank goodness it was cool outside, as you know how crowded and cramped these drills are…

After the drill was finally over, I made my way back to the Liner Bar to have a few beers before we sailed away. Then I would roam the open decks taking pictures as we sailed down the Hudson River. This would be my 16th time sailing out of Manhattan, but it never gets old, and yes I would probably be taking the same pictures that I (or Patti), have taken many times before, but each cruise is a little bit different. So, right about 5pm, we backed out of Pier 90 into the Hudson River…..

We will be heading this way, south down the Hudson River, and under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, (VNB for future reference), way off in the distance. It will take about 45 minutes to get there…

Thanks for the memories. I just got off the Splendor on the 24th. Our muster drill was also long, waiting for total silence. What's with that? Never saw that before. Nice pictures. Thanks

LOVE your reivews!!!:D

Thank you for taking the time to do this.

I have to say, your first picture of the Statue Of Liberty, might very well be the most AMAZING picture of her that I've ever seen:D

Beautiful!!!!!!

Sorry Patti couldn't join you on this one, but you are one lucky man that she let you go at it alone.:D

Cannot wait for more....

Thank you, again..

Well, Jamman, it's ABOUT TIME! I have been waiting forever for you to start this! ;):p Your pictures bring back such great memories of our 3 cruises on Splendor. Sure wish we could have done this cruise with you, but you are giving me the next best thing writing about it and sharing your pictures! BTW, I watched you sail out on the web cam and took 2 pictures of the ship! :)
