Does anyone know where the muster station is on the Summit for A2? Thanks.

asking this more than once does nothing. withouit knwoing the CABIN NUMBER we cannot help you figure out where the muster station could be.

why do you need to know so badly anyway?

I think everyone was in the main theater.

No, there are a few muster stations, but most people are in the main theater (since it is the largest). Once when our room was near the back of the ship we were in the rendezvous lounge for muster. And some people we spoke to were in the casino.

Agreed.

Muster Stations are assigned by Cabin Location & Number. The info for your Muster Station (code) will be printed on your SeaPass Card, and also clearly defined in the info you receive in your cabin.

Muster Station Codes (letter & number) do not relate in any clear way to the Class of cabin you are in.

Example, we had a Concierge C1 on The Summit last year, but our Muster Station Code was D1... Which on that ship translated to the Rendezvous Lounge

The year previous on The Solstice our Muster Station was at the very rear Starboard side of the MDR (this venue had several Muster Station groupings)

I have to admit... I like SPOOKWIFE wonder why this is something you wish to know ahead of time ?

In reality... Things can change... Even right up to the last minute. Not unusual for the Muster Station Sr Officers to move people to a different Muster Station depending on what they see presented before them (first chance to put bodies to numbers... So if there is a large number of elderly, disabled, or children / families / cabins who have 3rd & 4th Pax... They may move folks around to more equally distribute across the ship / lifeboats... For their safety and yours)

Cheers!

If you are assigned to the Rendezvous Lounge, don't go at the last minute or you won't get a seat. The "drill" takes about 10-15 minutes after everyone checks in.

Agreed. Also, for the main theater, they exit front to back. We got there early and were in the front row and got to leave first. Our friends that were near the back were almost 20 minutes later making it to Normadie then us after the drill (i.e. left later and all the crowded hallways, etc.).

Thanks. I will wait patiently.

The reason I wanted to know in advance is that I will be travelling with a person who has difficulty walking and is anxious about the length of the walk.

Thank you.

then they will need to plan on heading to the muster station an extra 15 minutes in advance as they do turn off the elevators
