Terminal J after security there are several eateries

we just had coffee & pastries & the prices were not that bad

go to the right if you enter security by the end of the row by the windows most of the better places are there

I'm not sure if it's opened yet, my My Ceviche teamed with George's Stone crab is opening up at MIA. When it does, I would definitely suggest that. My Ceviche is wonderful and they have gone from having one in Miami to opening quite a few more. I eat at the one in Brickell all the time and love it. Andrew Zimmerman actually filmed here a few months back for his new show.

La Carreta

also a smaller location in terminal E

good Cuban ... you'll see a number of airport workers eating here . . .

This is a local chain with several locations around the city. I've been eating here for years. Very good and "real" Cuban . . .

Our Famous Cuban (comment: sandwich ... sometimes called a Cuban Press. The andwich is toasted in a press)

Ham, Roast Pork, Swiss Cheese on a Cuban Bread with Mustard and Pickles.

or kick it up a notch

“La Carreta” Special

Ham, Roast Pork, Swiss Cheese and “Chorizo” on a Cuban Bread with Mustard and Pickles.

with some Fried Green Plantains “Tostones”

and/or Black Bean Soup

THAT'S a Cuban Lunch!
