Had a great catch up with a lot of people, lots of new cruise friends now. There were around 30 or more people so I didn't really catch up with everyone but we will next time we meet. :D

Perhaps in march ?;)

 

 

I was just thinking about where to ask how it went.

What a fun time we had. Nearly 40 people at one time!!!!!!

 

Next time we shall go somewhere with drinks closer to a ship in price.

 

For our other chat group on that other social media site ...there is now a closed group called ACT cruisers.

 

I'll post some photos here soon.

Very nice to meet so many people. Isn't funny how we all talk about the drinks prices onboard and many complain, yet there it was $19 for a cocktail! Lovely setting though.

But I tell people all the time that they'll pay more for a drink at some Bars and Restaurants than they will on a ship.

Ever time I hear someone (usually US) complain about the price of drinks on a ship i say "well you have never bought a cocktail in Canberra).

 

I nearly choked when I bought mine!!!!

 

Promise next time will be somewhere cheaper - but that will not be hard to find! But at least we had water to look at!
