GreenValleyDogWalker Posted February 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2015 I am working on final plans for 50 Year High School Reunion cruise (3 day getaway -LA/Ensenada/LA) We have various places reserved (Wheelhouse Bar, etc.) for our group gatherings (approx. 65 people total - 35 classmates plus guests) - and plan to ask ship's photographer to attend and take several photos. (Several of us will have our own cameras as as well !) Would like to have at least one "professionally taken" group photo of the 35 classmates. Does anyone have experience with such a thing ? - Do you think it can be taken in the Wheelhouse Bar - or will we have to all tromp out to the grand staircase ? - Do we ask in advance for this ? THANKS !!

Shogun Posted February 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2015 Hi There Only issue you may have is photo bloke will come up with a great location or idea, and advise that you need to be there at 5.00am as not to get other passengers in your shot, yours Shogun
Aus Traveller Posted February 1, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2015 We had a group photo taken of our large CC group. It was taken on the staircase just before our group lunch in the dining room. We didn't have a problem with other people. For the lunch, the organiser arranged with the Maitre 'd for a section of tables to be reserved for our group, but we had to meet just before noon so we entered the dining room together. That was the only tricky part as others joined in our line. :)
lake5298 Posted February 1, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2015 (edited) Last time we had a group photo, we all stood in a semi-circle and the photographer took a series of pictures panning around the group. These were digitally "stitched together" into a long photograph print. . Edited February 1, 2015 by lake5298
bconley351 Posted February 1, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2015 Last summer we had a large Meet and Greet event. In addition to several of the ship's crew, the photographer came and took a picture of our group.
