Two ships in Suva today

Looking down at the harbour this morning I saw both the Sea Princess and the Arcadia pulling into Suva. Will be busy in town today.

Must be rare to have two ships in port.

Yes I live in Suva. It is the second time in the last 12 months that there have been 2 ships in Port. I live on the ridge just to the left of the fuel tank you can see in the Arcadia shot so I get a full view of the harbour.

On our Canberra cruise in 1986 we docked in Suva with Fairstar . By today's standards Canberra would not be considered to be large, but looking across the harbor when returning from Pacific Harbour the Fairstar which was docked behind Canberra looked like a tender.
