islandatsea Posted March 8, 2015 #26 Share Posted March 8, 2015 I am sure they will as it gets close to completion. With past ships John heals did you tubes from them during final build cycles. Thanks, was not sure if Carnival did that or not.
LightHammer Posted March 23, 2015 #27 Share Posted March 23, 2015 A webcam in the shipyard at a high angle would be a pretty awesome way for those that are interested to watch the ship come alive. I really enjoyed seeing the process with the breeze, but as some had mentioned they really didn't start appearing on youtube until the breeze was in the interior outfitting stages. I would love to see a bit more of the process unfold.

grandmacani Posted April 20, 2015 #34 Share Posted April 20, 2015 I'll be so happy to start hearing all the buzz once she starts the itineraries. That will keep the boards flooded with comments and pictures. I don't know if that's a good idea as it'll make it so hard to wait for the last med and TA we'll be taking. CarnieAddict Posted May 4, 2015 #35 Share Posted May 4, 2015 When do they paint the outside? Dry dock or while in wet dock? Will there be a video of her dropping into the water for the first time?

rs45thompson Posted May 21, 2015 #38 Share Posted May 21, 2015 We have a cove balcony on the starboard side. It's actually further along than I thought. How are the cove balconies?
Rare trippingpara Posted May 21, 2015 #39 Share Posted May 21, 2015 How are the cove balconies? I don't know it's not built yet! Seriously, we really like them. We love being that close to the water instead of 10 stories above them. We also really like that its shaded so you don't cook on the balcony while relaxing. You also have a lot more privacy on them (your nosy neighbor can't keep peeking around the door!)

sailor_jimc Posted May 21, 2015 #41 Share Posted May 21, 2015 So I wonder how the cabins are put in. I assumed they went in through the sides of the ship in one piece. But from the picture above the outside walls are already in place. Certainly they don't build the cabins one at a time inside the empty shell? LeBarryboat Posted May 27, 2015 #46 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Here is a short video of the inventor of the new SkyRide device that will be onboard the new Carnival Vista. Scott Olson not only invented the SkyRide but in the eighties he invented RollerBlades, here's the video:
