Restaurant that serves horse

We will visit the following Canadian cities and are looking for restaurants that have horse meat on the menu.

Halifax, Sydney, Charlottetown, Cap-Aux-Meules, Gaspe, Saguenay, Quebec City, and Montreal

None of the above. I don't believe any place in Canada serves horse.

La Salle a Manger in Montreal has it on their online menu, Joe Beef in Montreal has it frequently on calkboard menu. Just wanting to find out if other cities have it as time will be tight in Montreal.

Cheval is horse

Poulain is foal or young horse

Canada has at least 2 packing plants that process horse. I think most is shipped to Europe especially France.

I have never seen or heard of it in Nova Scotia, PEI or the Magdalen Islands. Your best bet would be Montreal or maybe, Quebec City. I have often dined in Quebec, though and not seen it there.

No offense, but I would not think too many members here have much experience with this. As suggested, you can research this yourself using a we-based search engine like Google or Yahoo.
