Ironing boards

Ships have self service laundry rooms that have an ironing board and iron.

No! Not all ships.

No Royal Caribbean or Celebrity ship has self service laundry facilities. Irons are not allowed on board and will be confiscated should you try to pack.

Laundry is available at a charge.

INCORRECT. none of Royal's( or their other two brands, Celebrity and Azamara) ships have self service laundry facilities on board and no you may NOT bring an iron, a steamer or anything like that on boards.

Hi,

It's royal Caribbean I am sailing on as I put in the original question. So I am happy to use the on board facilities :-)

THERE ARE NO ON BOARD FACILITIES AT ALL for passenger use on ANY Royal caribbean Ship.

you may send items out for pressing at half the cost of dry cleaning.

Please try and not give incorrect information, as it will cause people problems. SOME ships, from some cruise lines, have passenger laundries, but not Royal Caribbean.

The OP is cruising on Royal Caribbean, and they DO NOT have self service laundries on their ships, nor do they allow passengers to bring irons or clothes steamers.

Ruby new, your only choice is to send out your clothes to be laundered or pressed.

OP clearly states in her first post she is sailing on Royal Caribbean. There are no irons/boards/laundry rooms, etc. on this ship. Why are people discussing other cruise lines? Or posting totally incorrect information?
