Drinks prices

Hello Guys

 

Does anybody have the current drinks prices for Splendour of the seas or any ship for that matter.

 

I have been with Royal many times but someone has just mentioned that there has been a 'significant' hike in drinks prices?

 

Any info appreciated. Really only need to know beer,wine and vodka prices.

Beer is around $5 to $7 now.

 

Cocktails $10 to $12.

In addition to the higher drink prices, the auto-tip on drinks was recently increased from 15% to 18%.

Can you remove the bar auto tip and tip cash instead directly to server?

My understanding is no, you can't. It's already on the slip when you get it.

There isn't any consolidated list of drink prices, at least I saw none on Radiance. There were a few lists here and there (Schooner Bar for example) where they listed a subset of drinks and prices but nothing showing everything offered. I can tell you the DOD was $7.75 plus the gratuity and the martini of the day was always $10. Also, since I drink scotch, J&B Black with soda water was $8. I guess I wasn't paying that much attention to drink prices because we had most of our evening cocktails in the CL (which, on Radiance, is very very nice). :)

We were on Splendour for the TA and while I don't have an actual list, the drink prices were similar to the increased prices that have been quoted on the boards. Our cruise originated in Brazil so the gratuity was already included in the published price and I know the printed sheets that they had in Schooner bar listed cocktails at $12 and $14. I never saw a drink of the day mentioned in the compass but it may have been in the bars.

 

We didn't buy too many drinks since we had the lounge in the evenings but we did have beers (probably Bud) from the pool bar for sailaway and I know that it was either $7 or $7.50.

No you can't, but you can always give extra cash directly to the server.
