dx052 Posted May 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2015 I understand that not all balcony cabins are equal but there are some that don't appeal to me much though. Could somebody advise me which are the ones with like an overhang/roof above, like a Canopy if that's the right word? I have noticed them on a few videos, are they on certain decks only and are they classed as obstructed views?

I have noticed them on a few videos, are they on certain decks only and are they classed as obstructed views? On the S-Class ships, Deck 11 forward of the "hump" area has an overhang from the pool deck above, and Deck 12 aft an overhang from the Oceanview Café. On Deck 6 thru 10, the overhang is the balcony directly above you. Reflection is the only S-Class ship that added an additional deck, so Deck 12 forward and aft have the overhang. upwarduk Posted May 17, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2015 I like 1A cabins, as they are angled off the hump. They are much larger and have the added. Advantage of sun near the rail and shade near the room.

No issue for me as I don't sit in it
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2015 On M class ships, deck 9 cabins have a large overhang from deck 10, but they are not classed as obstructed. This pic shows the overhang from deck 10 forward. EM
